Brushstrokes
Brushstrokes in the manner of Roy Lichtenstein, this pop art piece will bring a pop of colour and life into your living room or office. Featuring his classic benday dots reminiscent of early comic book aesthetics of the 1930s-1950s paired with his signature brushstroke in the foreground in red and blue. This piece is not listed in the catalogue raisonne and is most likely not an original piece. However, the aesthetic, style and iconography are after R Lichtenstein. Modelled after his Brushstrokes screenprint on off-white wove paper printed in 1976. The catalogue raisonne does indicate that the possibility that an unknown number of signed proofs may exist. Although we cannot guarantee its provenance due to its type and size, it is made using the best printing techniques and quality ink.
